The Duwamish Remembered

Formed from a single, continuous steel I-beam, this sculpture’s form follows both the historic/natural path of the nearby Duwamish river as well as the engineered channel that now define Seattle’s waterway.
A memorial to a once vital river / An archive of today’s cityscape / An acknowledgment of this watershed’s memory and potential reclamation.
